Addressing this need, the Unestech ST8522 hot-swap mobile rack offers an efficient storage expansion solution. Its innovative design maximizes storage density and leverages available drive slots. With tool-less installation, it allows quick and easy drive mounting and removal, streamlining the storage upgrade process.

Tray-less Drive Swap

This mobile rack supports up to two 2.5" SATA SSDs/HDDs and compatible with drive heights ranging from 5mm to 9.5mm. The silver switch button on the front panel offers a simple, smooth, and reliable method for drive removal, making the entire replacement process more efficient and seamless.

The ST8522 features a distinctive design with reinforced brackets on both sides of the enclosure, providing secure support for the drive after insertion to ensure stable and reliable operation across various environments. Its open-frame design also facilitates passive cooling by leveraging chassis airflow, improving drive longevity and reliability.

SATA Interface

Featuring a standard SATA 6Gbps interface. Installation is straightforward: simply connect the power via two 15-pin SATA cables and data via two 7-pin SATA cables. The Locking clip design prevents accidental disconnection, ensuring long-term, stable operation.

To indicate whether your drive is powered on or in use, an individual soft blue LED status light is designed for both each drive. A solid blue light indicates the device has power, and a flashing light is shown when the drive is in use.
