Product Introduction

The Unestech ST82107 is a 2.5" SATA SSD mobile rack designed specifically for 7mm ultra-slim hard drives. With its compact structure and broad compatibility, it significantly increases storage deployment density in limited spaces, making it particularly suitable for space-constrained industrial application scenarios.

This drive tray is fully compatible with 2.5" SATA SSD (5–7mm thickness), supports hot-swapping, and delivers data transfer speeds of up to 6Gbps. Its connectors are rated for 10,000 insertion/extraction cycles, ensuring both high-performance transmission and long-term reliability.

Tool-less Installation

The Unestech ST82107 features a fully tool-less installation design, requiring no screws or additional tools for drive assembly. Simply slide a 2.5" SSD into the tray and lock it in place for secure fixation. The mobile rack is universally compatible with all types of 2.5" SSDs, supporting drive heights ranging from 5mm to 7mm.

Secure and Robust Design

Constructed with an aluminum alloy door assembly and a stainless steel tray, this drive tray provides excellent flame-retardant properties, making it suitable for industrial equipment with stringent fire-resistance requirements.

It is equipped with a locking mechanism that firmly secures the drive after insertion, effectively preventing accidental ejection or unauthorized removal. This design proves especially valuable in high-security application scenarios such as vehicle-mounted computers and mobile workstations.

Spring Clip Design

The upgraded spring clip design not only ensures smooth guidance during SSD insertion but also applies consistent, stable lateral pressure once the drive is in place. This effectively prevents interface loosening caused by prolonged operation or equipment movement.

The front of the ST82107 includes a status LED when the drive is powered on, off and accessed. Supports both 7pin SATA and 15pin SATA power cables with locking latches so you’ll never need to worry about cables unintentionally disconnecting from your enclosure. Once these cables are connected, they’ll lock into place and stay that way.
