The ST7222U is a dual bay enclosure that supports 1 x 2.5" SATA SSD/HDD and 1 x 3.5" SATA HDD in a 5.25" optical drive bay of your computer/workstation/rackmount system. Tray-less design and hot-swap feature let you replace a failed drive without shutting down the system.
The hard drives are typically installed inside the computer case, making maintenance a difficult and time-consuming process. The mobile rack brings your drives to the front 5.25" optical drive bay, utilizing tool-less installation for hassle-free maintenance.
The mobile rack has an easy to handle metal door latch, a key lock to keep the door locked and secure, and also with power button it allows you to power down each drive when not in use to save energy and extend your drives lifespan. Power and Access LEDs to easily see the status of your SATA drives.
Two USB 3.0 ports are extended on the front panel of the enclosure, a clever design that significantly enhances the utility of the device. It means you can easily connect multiple USB devices to a single hard drive enclosure, reducing the reliance on the host computer's USB port and making work more flexible and efficient.
