The Unestech ST2580 Utilizing the two 5.25” bay form factor, the compact design allows the enclosure to be used in various applications. The hdd enclosure is extremely useful for workstations, compact servers or home servers due to its high capacity and space saving design.

High Capacity

To maximize its storage density and compatibility, the enclosure supports 8 x 5mm to 15mm 2.5” SATA / SAS SSD or Hard disk drive, and only uses two standard 5.25” computer bays (DVD-ROM bays).

Removable Tray Design

The mobile rack features our unique hot-swappable 2.5” trays that let you painlessly and quickly swap out drives. Using our trays makes drive interchangeability and maintenance completely hassle free.

Bringing more utility your hard drives or SSDs, LED’s are installed into the front of the mobile rack to provide individual drive status information at all times. Active Power Technology allows each LED and the cooling fan to be active only when a hard drive is inserted into the enclosure.

The enclosure tray system uses an individual key lock mechanism for each tray, locking it in place and protecting against accidental ejection or malicious activity. For drive security, the key lock system on the tray makes sure your hard drives will not eject when not needed.

The mobile rack supports both Mini-SAS and 15-pin SATA power cables with locking latches,two 50mm cooling fan placed strategically behind the rear panel provide airflow throughout the entire cage cooling all 8 bays effectively and efficiently.

ST2580 features a rugged aluminum metal housing designed to meet high requirement which are generally found in Enterprise environments, Military systems, Medical systems, high performance computing and industrial settings.
