The Unestech ST3530B is a a hot-swappable 3Bay Tray-less SATA 6Gbps Hdd Enclosure for 3.5" SATA / SAS hard drives ,Its installation is 5.25" bays with the power and data connections being supported by a SATA 7 pin and 15 pin Serial ATA power connectors. When these connections are done well at the rear of the rack, it becomes fully functional.
The Mobile Rack has been designed to maximize space use by allowing up to 3 x 3.5” SAS / SATA hard drives, while only consuming two 5.25” drive bays.
It also has an in –built hot swap component that ensures it does not heat up when in use. The swapping of hard drives can be done in the multiple bays with the computer still functional.
Its locking mechanism is triangular shaped and essential for utmost security of the data on it.
Each drive door has a locking latch mechanism to prevent a door from being opened easily.
Each bay includes individual LED indicators, displaying both drive power and activity. This is to provide drive status information at all times.
Its HDD LED display has an on and off switch for it to function only when information from it needs to show.
Its overall design is quite good and it is very sturdy for its size and workload. The Mobile Rack features full aluminum housing and an all black exterior finish, fits in seamlessly with premium enthusiast PC cases.
The Mobile Rack also only requires two 4-pin power ports (or two 15-pin power ports), to power up to three 3.5” hard drives.
Its cooling fans are the 60 x 60 x 15 mm type that is surprisingly quiet for the type of functionalities it handles when on its maximum speed.
